M2H - Kelli, Tell us about your current Job/Career.
Kelli - I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a Plus Size Model. You can view some of my photos at http://portfolios.models.com/kherbert. I have committed myself to giving the modeling industry 110% of my spare time for one full year. If all goes according to plan, I would eventually like to model full time. So far modeling is coming a long well. I can only hope that this momentum continues, with the opportunities that I have pending. I was recently named USA Plus Model of the Year 2003 by Dimensions Plus www.plususa.com, November Model of the Month at www.venusimaging.com and I was just offered a three-year modeling contract with W.I.S.H. in Pennsylvania. I have also been taking some acting classes and was recently featured as a train passenger in Spiderman 2. That was a really cool experience and I met a lot of wonderful people.
If modeling and acting don't work out the way that I think they will, then I am planning to attend graduate school next fall for my masters in marketing. At that point I may also look into opening a gym for women similar to curvesforwomen where I work out now.
I have worked for work for Hallmark Cards, Inc. as a Major Installation Leader since June of 2001. However, I was recently promoted to Sales and will start my new position as a Sales Representative on January 1, 2003. Hallmark is an excellent company to work for, it's family owned and I couldn't have asked for nicer coworkers. I enjoy having a home office, working out in the field and the fact that no two days are ever the same. Each day creates a new challenge.
