M2H - Jeanette, Tell us about your current Job/Career.

Jeanette - I work as an administrative assistant for an international college fraternity headquarters. Our office is made up of people from all age ranges, which is rather unique. I have come to realize how vital administrative support people are to the operation of any business. We administrative assistants are worth our weight in gold (making some of us more expensive than others! LOL)

M2H - Have you had any past jobs that may have been of significance in arriving where you are today?

Jeanette - I worked as a church secretary for about four years. The pastor I worked for was a wonderful man who actually lived what he preached every Sunday. I learned so much from him-patience, kindness, diplomacy. I learned how to be a more compassionate person through that position. There were often times that people would stop by the church office to see the pastor because they were going through some personal trial. The church office was often the first place people would call when a loved one passed away.

Another way I have grown personally is by volunteering. I am a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, a permiere leadership organization that specializes in bringing good people together to do good things. My personal growth has been phenomenal since joining in 1988. If you would like to know more about ESA International, go to www.esaintl.com

M2H - You seem to be very compassionate and considerate towards others. Has this attitude influenced your personal life?

Jeanette - I have loved and been loved by men who never considered my size an obstacle. I have also had men who would not give me the time of day because of my size. It takes a truly selfless person to look beyond the outer layer and go way deep inside to the person you truly are.

I have been married to a man for the last 14 years who loves me from the inside out, and for that I am truly grateful.
