I have a difficult time finding attractive wide shoes in my area. Where can I find a selection of larger sizes in wide width?

I suggest that you look through our resource database for shoe stores in your area. You may also want to read the article on 'Safe Internet Shopping' and consider shopping online at one of the many online sites.

I am a frequent flier and would like to own my own seatbelt extender. Where would I find one?

There is a site in our resource database: http://www.amplestuff.com/ that carries airline seatbelt extenders.

Recently I received an article in my email explaining that aspartame was responsible for an epidemic of diseases such as multiple sclerosis and lupus and could be poisonous in the right circumstances. Is this true?

There are several 'urban legend' sites online that explain that this 'informative email' is a hoax. Please see: http://www.snopes2.com/toxins/aspartam.htm

I have an event to post on the site for a get together of our support group, how do I do that?

I can post your event on the bulletin board and if it is of interest to a wide variety of people in different areas of North America we can also put it on the front page as well. Send it as early as you can so it can be seen by a maximum number of people.

As a large senior person, are there programs run by the U.S. Government that will pay for additional equipment in my home that will assist with my mobility?

I would advise you to speak with your doctor on this matter. The Medicare link: http://www.medicare.gov/Supplier/Home.asp is a supplier directory. Just enter your zip code or your state and it will give you a list of suppliers in your area. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) at http://www.hcfa.gov is another site which will supply information on assistance.
