Therapy For Women

is Underwear Therapy? The concept of underwear therapy is the
process by which you can affect your attitude and outlook by
what you do at the beginning of each and every day.
So many of us fall into the habit of purchasing utility white
underwear based solely on our desire for comfort. Each day we
don our boring, standard issue undies and yet we fuss over our
outward appearance for others. I believe that I deserve as much
fuss as the strangers and others I will meet throughout my daily
travels.
Take a moment and envision a day that you know will be
challenging. You reach for your bold, electric blue panties and
matching bra. You are instantly energized for the day! During
those stressful moments, you can take a deep breath, draw on
your secret source of electricity, smile quietly to yourself,
and charge ahead.
What about a first date scenario? I think about how I want to
feel – feminine pastel pink, cool powder blue, sensuous red,
passionate purple, sexy black, or silly print. My attitude is
boosted by my undercover personality. Even though others may not
see or know of my secret power, I am prepared to face my date
with confidence.
On days when I need a boost, I get my favorite bubble bath and
prepare for a ME experience. I take a nice long bath, play my
favorite music, and take time to pamper myself. I might give
myself a pedicure and a manicure. I might shave my legs, pluck
my brows, condition my hair, etc. After the bath I’ll powder
and perfume myself with the scent that makes me feel my best. At
this point I usually choose a forest green lingerie set trimmed
with lace and ribbon. Whether I then put on jeans or something
dressier, what matters is that ultimately, I do it for me. I am
now refreshed and ready for an afternoon of garage sales,
visiting with friends, facing the crowd at the mall, or simply
relaxing with a good book.
You might assume that I spend hundreds of dollars on lingerie
all at once. In actual fact, I do not. When money is a bit tight
I try to buy one nice piece on payday. The matching piece can be
picked up the next payday. I have purchased some very pretty,
comfortable, and inexpensive sets from low cost national chain
stores. When cash is more plentiful, I can then splurge at
specialty shops or at online lingerie retailers.
This same underwear therapy concept can be applied to nightwear.
Rather than reaching for an old, worn out nightie, I might
choose a pretty flowing gown that feels good next to my skin or
something with ribbons and lace to boost my morale.
Whatever your style, Underwear Therapy is a concept from which
we can all benefit!
